Today at 3 George’s Grading we hauled and spread gravel on a construction road for a client’s property in Hiddenite North Carolina. Our customer wanted the road bed bush hogged, gravel hauled in, and road shaped up with a CAT 289D Skidsteer to create his construction road.
We brought in 9 tandem dump truck loads or around 134 tons of class 467 gravel. The size 467 gravel is large enough so the dirt doesn’t come up through in between the gravel, yet it is still small enough so a nice vehicle can drive across and not worry about being dinged up or scraping the gravel.
